An Energy Kitchen case study.

 

How we made an out-of-the-box idea… with a box.

The Challenge.

The Energy Kitchen franchise located in South Florida, had just launched their delivery program. Our goal was to increase awareness, drive action and engender loyalty. This aspect of the campaign targeted businesses in the area. To complete this challenge we created a talking Burger Box.

The Burger Box delivered an audible message once it was opened. The voice-over introduced Energy Kitchen with a welcoming, familiar and informative message. The voice-over also explained the additional contents in the box.

The Outcome.

This direct mail campaign alleviated as many ordering barriers as possible for the consumer. The box itself familiarized the recipient with the logo, the brand and the location. The voiceover anthromorphized the brand, adding personality and an audible message.

The wrapper that concealed the cell phone featured the Energy Kitchen menu as well as the Free Delivery offer we were extending with this direct mail piece.

Lastly, we have the cell phone. A one-time-use mobile device (aka, “burner” phone) included in the box was preprogrammed with Energy Kitchen’s logo as well as their delivery phone number.

We also made certain that each Burger Box was delivered just before the lunch rush to increase effectiveness and maintain top-of-mind positioning.

The Results.

We identified a targeted list of businesses that fit within our demographic framework. Our creativity and attention to detail turned a box into an out of the box idea.

Our digital integration allowed us to track usage rate, delivery growth, repeat-shoppers and provided us with a literal, tangible and accurate ROI.
