Mister Relaxation

Mister Relaxation, a distinctive holistic men's health spa and lounge nestled in the Mount Airy neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia, provides a serene social atmosphere for services such as manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, and hair grooming.

I was tasked with designing a brand and visual identity that exudes timelessness, blending attributes typically associated with men with the luxurious ambiance of holistic relaxation. The concept for the boutique men’s health spa and lounge draws inspiration from the social clubs that were prevalent among gentlemen in the past.

Design APPROACH

With a focus on opulent comfort, I aimed for a minimalist yet luxe design approach. I crafted a classical base for the monogram, complemented by a modern monotype to complete the lockup. After client approval, I refined the design with a palette of gold and dark tones, aligning seamlessly with the spa's established visual concept.

To enhance the overall brand aesthetic, black and white photography was integrated into shop ephemera, products, and digital content. This approach elevated the upscale ambiance, presenting images of distinguished, well-groomed, and healthy men to promote the high-end services.
