Jackson Health Foundation, part of Jackson Health System, focuses on supporting medical programs and services through philanthropy. When they set out to launch their first annual mental health awareness event, I led the project’s design efforts, creating the logo and visual identity from the ground up. The goal was to build a timeless name and logo that would connect with both mental health advocates and sponsors.
Collaborating with a talented team of creatives, we shaped the look, feel and assets for the event—resulting in a brand concept that conveyed trust, collaboration and the natural, uplifting energy of South Florida’s community. The outreach event, which was planned in conjunction with the Jackson Health Foundation, was held on World Mental Health Day in Miami’s Margaret Pace Park and went on to raise more than $250,000 for Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital.
